The hotel was surprisingly lovely, with spacious
Rooms that are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a highlight, with delicious options like mushroom Benedict eggs. The self-check-in was convenient, though I wished I could have interacted more with the staff beyond meal times.

The breakfast options were excellent, especially the Full English. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The bar area was a nice spot to unwind after a long day, with affordable drinks and good conversation with locals. I faced issues with the parking, as the hotel only has three slots. On one occasion, I had to park on the street, which required regularly updating the parking disk. The shower pressure in my room was also rather weak. The hospitality and cleanliness stood out despite a couple of logistical challenges.

This is a hotel go-to for Workington! All in all, it's homely place that has highly courteous staff who gave great service. Its location in the Lake District is peaceful. As for me the food is splendid, and they have plenty of meals.

The breakfast spread was excellent, especially the high-quality cooked options that fueled us for the day ahead.
The self check-in process was quite confusing, as we had to scramble for our key among several on display.
